1 Timotheus 3:7

SV	En hij moet ook een goede getuigenis hebben van degenen, die buiten zijn, opdat hij niet valle in smaadheid, en [in] den strik des duivels.
Steph	δει δε αυτον και μαρτυριαν καλην εχειν απο των εξωθεν ινα μη εις ονειδισμον εμπεση και παγιδα του διαβολου
Trans.	dei de auton kai martyrian kalēn echein apo tōn exōthen ina mē eis oneidismon empesē kai pagida tou diabolou

Alex	δει δε και μαρτυριαν καλην εχειν απο των εξωθεν ινα μη εις ονειδισμον εμπεση και παγιδα του διαβολου
ASV	Moreover he must have good testimony from them that are without; lest he fall into reproach and the snare of the devil.
BE	And he is to have a good name among those outside the church, so that nothing may be said against him and he may not be taken by the designs of the Evil One.
Byz	δει δε αυτον και μαρτυριαν καλην εχειν απο των εξωθεν ινα μη εις ονειδισμον εμπεση και παγιδα του διαβολου
Darby	But it is necessary that he should have also a good testimony from those without, that he may fall not into reproach and [the] snare of the devil.
ELB05	Er muß aber auch ein gutes Zeugnis haben von denen, die draußen sind, auf daß er nicht in Schmach und in den Fallstrick des Teufels verfalle.
LSG	Il faut aussi qu'il reçoive un bon témoignage de ceux du dehors, afin de ne pas tomber dans l'opprobre et dans les pièges du diable.
Pesh	ܘܠܐ ܕܝܢ ܕܐܦ ܤܗܕܘܬܐ ܫܦܝܪܬܐ ܐܝܬ ܠܗ ܡܢ ܒܪܝܐ ܕܠܐ ܢܦܠ ܒܚܤܕܐ ܘܒܦܚܐ ܕܤܛܢܐ ܀
Sch	Er muß aber auch ein gutes Zeugnis haben von denen außerhalb der Gemeinde , damit er nicht der Lästerung und der Schlinge des Teufels verfalle.
Web	Moreover, he must have a good report of them who are without; lest he fall into reproach and the snare of the devil.
Weym	It is needful also that he bear a good character with people outside the Church, lest he fall into reproach or a snare of the Devil.
